Mobile Management - What settings will be applied?

When you enroll your mobile device in our management system certain settings and policies will be applied.  We don't want to impact your use and customisation too much so we only ever set the minimum options that ensures we're meeting our legal and moral obligations to data protection.

¹ Personal devices can only access university email using the official Microsoft Outlook app.  If you'd like to utilise the built-in iOS Mail app you can choose to enrol your device in our management system by following the instructions for work devices.

² Application PIN numbers apply to university managed applications (such as Microsoft Outlook) that are installed on personal devices and mean we can protect or remove corporate owned data from a personal device without it needing to be fully enrolled in our management system.

	Microsoft Company Portal The Company Portal app allows you to access apps, data, and resources on your work device.
	Microsoft AIP Viewer Azure Information Protection Viewer lets you open and view protected files that others have shared with you.
	Microsoft Authenticator The Microsoft Authenticator app provides an additional level of security in your account by notifying you of any unauthorized access and to provide verification codes for two-factor authentication.
